- Providing technical expertise and design services concentrated on water treatment plant operations and processes.
- Delivering technical assistance for the advancement of sustainable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
- Performing engineering evaluations using water quality data, creating thorough reports, contributing to design drawing progress, drafting technical specifications, and preparing permit submissions for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating with project teams to accomplish project goals.
- Overseeing multiple tasks across simultaneous projects, ensuring prompt completion within assigned budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to promptly acquire one through reciprocity.
- 5-10 years of experience in water treatment, with expertise in chemistry and process evaluations.
- Preferred background in potable reuse and water quality modeling.
- Solid technical proficiency, teamwork aptitude, and effective communication skills.
- Self-driven with the capacity to work autonomously and fulfill assigned duties.
- Thorough comprehension of traditional and advanced water treatment procedures, water chemistry, modeling in utility design (incorporating stormwater, water, and wastewater), and familiarity with pertinent regulations.
