- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on over-the-road Class A tractors, tanker trailers and tube trailers
- Document/record work performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system
- Perform road repairs when necessary
- Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers
- Ensure fleet is in compliance with DOT regulations
- Run parts room within facility's budget
- Document/record Hazmat and OSHA requirements
- High School diploma/equivalent
- 3-5 years strong vehicle maintenance and repair experience
- Strong mechanical background, with some computer experience/skills
- Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
- Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience
- Welding knowledge and experience preferred
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Must be able to work overtime depending on business needs
- Validated work history
- Valid Class A CDL preferred though not required

At this facility we produce and distribute liquid and gaseous hydrogen to customers throughout North America The position reports to the New Orleans Distribution Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance of company owned tractors and tanker trailers.
