The design of our plants is to ensure quick pit turnaround time so that drivers can get in, load, scale and out quickly back to the job site.


Position Overview


This position will be responsible for efficiently operating their assigned plant and all related equipment and maintain it in proper and safe working condition.

This position will be in the over night hours.


Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Services and maintains the plant and all associated equipment in proper and safe working order.
  • Accurately completes all documentation and reports, and forwards documents to the Business Office.
  • Keeps site properly maintained, mowed, vehicles properly parked, materials correctly stored, debris disposed, storm and washout water controlled, hazardous materials properly stored or disposed.
  • Works effectively under time and scheduling deadlines.
  • Consistently produces an efficient, accurate work product.
  • Works proficiently in a team organization.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Bilingual, a plus.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and paving and can use such tools properly and safely.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess knowledge of Company policies and procedures, including safety.
  • Must consistently produce an efficient, accurate work product.

Work Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass postoffer employment drug testing, medical exams, and physical agilities testing.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist coworkers and/or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by MSHA.

  • Must be able to exert up to 1020 lbs constantly to move objects, 2550 lbs of force frequently and lbs of force occasionally.
  • Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
