- Translate psychological testing results through assessment report writing and other means of communication, as indicated.
- Provide timely documentation summarizing, interpreting and contextualizing testing findings and communicate/collaborate about resulting findings to appropriate others.
- Documentation will be tailored to level of care to best meet the need and serve purpose of pragmatic, efficient and effective interpretation and integration of results in terms that are understandable to the general public.
- Results are translated as appropriate via documentation or other appropriate means to patient (as appropriate), family/responsible caregivers, referring provider/treatment team, and collaborating providers/caregivers.
- Fellows work directly with their supervisor for purposes of training in the testing process adjusted per level of care, including determination of testing goals, development of individualized testing batteries, administration of tests, scoring and interpretation of tests, report writing, and provision of feedback for assigned patients. Autonomy in this process will be increased as fellows display competency, though supervision will remain present at a developmentally appropriate level throughout the training year.
- Coordinate care with patient, family members/guardians, providers/school staff, and treatment teams, both internally and externally, as applicable and in alignment with policy and procedures.
- Provide services under supervision of a licensed psychologist. Supervision consists of weekly individual supervision with their primary supervisor as well as an additional hour of supervision per week in either a group or individual format, for a total of 2 hours of weekly supervision. The postdoctoral fellow will maintain responsibility for tracking and seeking signoff for attendance to supervision.
- Attend required training seminars, staff/team meetings, and/or rounds as applicable. Engage as an active participant within organizational or level of care initiative, as applicable.
- Maintain clinical records and confidentiality of client medical records according to PrairieCare policies, level of care requirements, and HIPAA rules.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely billing records per policy and level of care requirements.
- Oriented toward, educated in, and embraces trauma informed and interculturally responsive functioning from lenses of gender, race, age, and other cultural identifications and differences.
- As applicable, contribute to interdisciplinary teams the perspectives of their unique training and clinical lens.

- Requires a doctorate degree in Psychology (PhD, PsyD or EdD)
- Must have academic and experiential foundation and qualifications to meet standards in administering and interpreting psychological tests at a level expected for a postdoctoral, unlicensed psychologist
- Demonstrates excellent and agile written and oral communications skills
- Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation in terms understandable to the general public for ease of translation
- Knowledgeable of full range of acuity of adult, adolescent, and/or child psychological disorders (depending on training/competency)
- Knowledge of follow-up resource services available to adults, adolescents, and children
- Demonstrated skills in conducting standard tasks of psychological testing services
- Ability to maintain information as highly confidential
- Skills in time management and timely, efficient documentation
- Have computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word
- Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks
- Ability to communicate well and flexibly, both verbally and in writing
- After training, ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle potentially high intensity or emergency situations including disruptive, explosive or resistant patients

Responsibilities
Psychology postdoctoral fellows are trainees who directly report to the Psychology Training Supervisor. Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, a psychology postdoctoral fellow provides quality psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment and testing services to child, adolescent and/or adult patients within PrairieCare. Scope of practice maintains a primary function of engaging in best practices for psychological assessment and utilizing gathered data to support treatment teams, patients and their caregivers in developing, translating and understanding clinical formulation within a patient's mental health care treatment. Psychological assessment services engage patients/families and treatment teams in the ethical process of making informed, collaborative decisions about mental health care. Psychology postdoctoral fellows provide a supplemental service, as clinically indicated, as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and in collaboration with the patient and their caregivers in support of PrairieCare's mission, vision and core values.
