    The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 106,000.00 USD - 140,000.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.     We are seeking our next Associate Manager, Brand + Innovation Design (Graphic Design) to join our team. This role will be concepting and creating inspiring concepts from concept to execution (innovation phase all the way to launch). This visual storytelling will need to be considered across many channels and touchpoints. This can include (yet may not be limited to) conceptual moodboards, packaging, design hierarchy, concepts, brand ID, in-store experiences, photography art direction, trade show concepts and graphics, and omni thinking on campaigns / projects including digital and social. This role will also create tools to share with the larger team and / or manage vendors + agency partners to further champion the conceptual work. You have a high level of understanding as to how brand strategy relates to design. You also enjoy presenting your ideas and working cross-functionally to find new solves for sustainable packaging solutions, and thinking bigger on design systems across the portfolio. You will report to the Creative Director for Brand + Innovation Design and will collaborate with the larger future thinking Design Studio Team. While this role will focus mainly on the Method and Ecover brands, there may be some overflow of design support for the larger umbrella of brands including Mrs. Meyers and Babyganics.

    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    The Associate Manager, Brand + Innovation Design will:

    • Contribute and sometimes lead design development for two of our most beloved brands; method + ecover
    • Concept, design & produce world-class on-brand design work for a variety of touchpoints, including new product development, in-store activations, campaign concepts & executions, toolkits, packaging and point-of-sale materials
    • Represent the design team in project meetings, and mentor and guide more junior designers on long-term projects
    • Create design forward, inspiring concepts that can be applied across many channels and touchpoints
    • Collaborate closely with other creative disciplines, including digital, social, industrial design & copywriting
    • Contribute design thinking and creative strategy to help shape overall creative direction
    • Produce mood boards and decks to bring our products and brands to life, with consideration of cultural and design trends, both within our categories and beyond.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively to meet deadlines
    • Have a strong understanding of print processes, dielines and artwork production
    • Thoughtful and elevated typography and strategic, brand systems thinking

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • 5+ years of experience in relevant design experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field OR 3+ years of relevant design experience + Masters degree
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop

    Preferred:

    • Strong organizational skills
    • The ability to self-start, and take on some management responsibilities with new vendors + agencies
    • Great interpersonal skills to build working relationships with a wide variety of cross-functional partners
    • Strategic thinking to help guide creative development
    • Ability to be a self-starter and has the proven ability to motivate and influence others
    • Creativity, curiosity and proactivity with problem solving, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • High level of packaging design and multiple examples
    • Knowledge of cpg / personal care / beauty / skincare or relevant categories
    • A great attitude and positive outlook
    • Ability to work under aggressive timelines and easily adaptable to change, with a large workload
    • Proficiency in animation or digital programs such as Figma and / or After Effects a plus
