Responsibilities
This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
DESCRIPTION:
Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis between plan or prior year vs actual numbers to give an overall over-performance or under-performance, identify trends for recommended improvements
Ensures all financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform financial forecasting for certain areas of the business
Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational decisions.
Create and automate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis for management.
Strong data mining experience in structured and unstructured data (SAP BW, SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred
1-2 years of data mining and analysis experience preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills required.
Knowledge of SAP, BW, Essbase/HFM preferred.
Tableau experience preferred.
Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to multi task and prioritize.
Strong, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, as well as other departments and senior management.
