Manager, Supply Chain

Position Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the supplyplanning and logistics process, including working with external suppliers and a variety of internal stakeholders to consolidate a demandsupply view against our pipeline forecast
  • Develop strategies to drive organization of supply commits, including maintaining supplydemand views and reconciling any demandsupply disparities
  • Logistics coordination amongst site leads, PMs, warehouse operators, equipment manufacturers, and 3PL freight providers
  • Maintaining relationships with key logistics companies and assess quotes for pricing, offerings, and servicelevel agreements
  • Manage warehouse requirement planning, cost optimization for vendormanaged shipments, and freight negotiation and execution
  • Monitor, maintain and update strategic procurement deliveries, payment forecast, warehousing cost forecasts, insurance costs and Safe Harbor equipment inventory allocation.
  • Define and track the metrics associated with supply planning management and logistics planning, including lead times, orders, and delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in STEM or MBA, or extensive experience in supply chain operations
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience; experience in renewable energy project development and/or the construction industry is a plus
  • Expert level with MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Solar Energy supply chains and their respective components (PV modules, inverters etc.)
  • Strong product knowledge of logistics industry, including the transfer and warehousing of facility construction and associated components (panels, inverters, racking etc.)
  • Familiarity with the exportation/importation of equipment/materials
  • Experience with a solar energy developer or solar EPC contractor
  • Experienced in logistics analytics and using data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.
  • APICS or equivalent is a plus
