    Schedule:
    Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (exact hours may vary)

    Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

    The Cancer and Blood Diseasees Institute (CBDI) Administrative Operations Team is accountable for completing many of the administrative and project implementation tasks needed to support CBDI operations.

    As a member of the CBDI Administrative Operations Team, the Project Associate is responsible for providing necessary clerical and logistical support to key medical providers, as well as overseeing and executing projects as needed to support CBDI operations.

    Immediate needs of this role are to provide administrative and project support to multiple faculty members with clinical and leadership roles within CHLA, as well as provide cross coverage support for other members of the CBDI Administrative Support staff.

    Anticipated challenges including needing to learn the necessary task promptly and learning to carry out the necessary duties in a fast-paced medical setting.

    The Project Associate manages specific aspects of project from development through implementation, and will play a crucial role in assisting the project management team in ensuring the completion of larger projects.

    This role will work with the Sr.

    project manager to create and develop project plans through analysis in order to support the completion of the various projects.


    Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 4+ years of experience in leading development Projects; Experience leading multiple projects at one time and comfortable with a fast-paced collaborative work environment; Very strong calendar management, organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills.

    Budgets and financial reconciliation experience highly preferred. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) is required. Knowledge of specialized applications such as Cerner, EndNote, Visio are preferred but not required.

    Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks with ease in a fast-paced setting that often has time constraints.


    Education/Licensure/Certification:
    Bachelor's Degree required or High School with 8+ years of relevant experience; Project Management Certificate Preferred.

    Pay Scale Information

    $61,360.00-$110,573.00

    Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

    The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

    Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
