    Description

    Position Summary:

    We're seeking a Project Engineer for our new production facility in Lebanon, IN. This role, part of the corporate engineering team, will drive business objectives by overseeing facility, processing, and packaging projects. From equipment installation to process improvements, the Project Engineer will collaborate closely with various departments and report to the Director of Engineering.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the onsite engineering liaison during facility construction, collaborating with contractors and subcontractors.
    • Support the installation of production equipment and provide technical expertise during startup and operation.
    • Collaborate with maintenance and operations to troubleshoot issues and optimize production lines.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute capital projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of engineering experience in food processing or CPG manufacturing.
    • Proven track record in managing capital projects.
    • Strong knowledge of food processing equipment and hygienic design principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel for project-related work, up to 5-10% to other domestic facilities and vendors.
