    Description

    Position Summary

    The lab technician will work closely with faculty, staff and students to assist in the proper upkeep and maintenance of a busy undergraduate biology lab.

    Position Responsibilities

  • preparation of materials needed for the laboratory exercises,
  • maintaining all living materials used in the advanced courses,
  • ordering supplies for the various laboratory exercises,
  • trouble-shooting laboratory equipment issues,
  • overseeing the cleanliness of the teaching laboratories
  • maintaining inventory
  • assisting professors [e.g., photocopying of examinations, proctoring

    • Experience & Educational Background :

  • BA degree; preferably in Biology or Biochemistry.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Attention to details
  • ability to work independently

    • Salary Range:

  • $26.13-$26.13 per hour
