As Business Development Representative III, you will support deal development and development of sophisticated economic analysis of commercial opportunities. You will also collaborate to build new contracts and solutions that benefit Williams and our customers.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Conducts market and customer analysis to identify potential greenfield business opportunities; analyzes and validates by generating new leads and prospectsCollaborates with internal business partners on proposals to acquire feedback and ensure alignment with proposed contract termsDevelops opinions and recommendations on basin, customer and competitor intelligence utilizing third party tools and publicationsDevelops strong and enduring high-level customer relationshipsMay mentor othersParticipates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and servicesCommunicates with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions; assists with merger and acquisition processesSupports closure of opportunities that meet financial hurdles and strategic fitAnticipates and meets customer needsOriginates, negotiates and closes sophisticated commercial CCS agreementsDevelops new projects and/or conducts due diligence on investment opportunities related to CCS, hydrogen and energy transition spaceUnderstands deal structure, contract terms, financial issues and other aspects of CCS and hydrogen project developmentCultivates and maintains strong customer relationshipsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and minimum of five (5) years' related experiencePreferred: MBA

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityNeeds proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsPrevious experience in the energy industryDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industryDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of energy market fundamentals and economics including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actionsDemonstrates strong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstands structuring of 45Q and voluntary emission reduction credit economics evaluations and value driversUnderstands structuring of 45V and renewable thermal credit economic evaluations and value driversKnowledge of oil and gas and CCS and hydrogen industry activities, regulations and trendsExperience providing thought leadership and innovation to a growing business unitAbout Houston (Williams Tower Location):Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
