    Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) Responsibilities

    As a Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler), you are responsible for developing and coordinating resident care staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels in accordance with company guidelines. Staffing Coordinators (Scheduler) coordinate scheduling in an objective manner, plan, and schedule staff for nursing units to assure care for the resident and distribute staff appropriately throughout the facility to ensure staffing meets state and federal regulations.

    Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) Requirements

    • Experience in centralized scheduling preferred but not required.
    • Previous staffing/scheduling software system experience in a long-term care setting highly preferred.
    • Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Experience with OnShift a plus
    • Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care highly preferred.
    • Strong personal organization and time management ability with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
    • Great customer service skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel and Word applications.
