Your responsibilities:

  • Independent creation of standard PLC function blocks (primarily Siemens TIA Portal) including documentation according to standard guidelines
  • Analysis of problems and malfunctions in PLC programs or blocks and onsite support for suppliers
  • Control of PLC programs according to standard guidelines, including creation of a test report and conducting discussions with suppliers

Your qualifications:

  • Completed technical degree with a focus on automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable vocational training, preferably with further training as a technician or master with several years of professional experience
  • Extensive experience as a planner in the field of automation technology with a focus on programming and standardization
  • Relevant professional experience in PLC programming, knowledge of the VASS programming standard desirable
  • Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, alternatively knowledge of Siemens STEP S7, Phoenix Contact PLCnext, PC Worx or CODESYS Development System
  • Independent and responsible way of working
  • Teamwork skills
  • Good German and English skills
