- Initiate and maintain accurate initial camera orders (prelim, bids, etc. ) – continually updating changes to orders during prep with communications to Marketing, Prep and Service departments.
- Ensure correct equipment is scheduled for all jobs.
- Update rental software and Active Scheduler accordingly.
- Maintain effective, timely and accurate communication with all departments and clients, including billing notes on existing projects.
- Keep Operations and Account Executives abreast of low levels of scheduled equipment, while working with Prep Staff.
- Locate and reserve equipment from other Panavision offices and / or from other rental houses.
- Communicate daily with Prep and Service departments on changing priorities.
- Arrange for sub- rentals or branch transfer of equipment needed to support projects with Global Inventory Director / Local Office Manager.
- Coordinate return of sub-rented equipment after projects are completed.
- Maintain inter-office transfers, as directed.
- Other tasks and assignments as required.
- Panavision inventory (basic functions, specialty items, etc.)
- Pinnacle, Explorer, Active Scheduler and other computer applications (Microsoft Office).
- Comprehensive client knowledge – job histories, equipment preferences, for each specific job in progress.
- Understanding of Industry and filmmaking process.
- Dynamic team player.
- High degree of accountability and ability to multi-task on multiple projects.
- Ability to work and maintain effectiveness under pressure, within tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative without constant supervision.
