Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Clerk to join our team based out of our Milton, PA location

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
The Plant Clerk provides general administrative support to our plant operation and personnel.

The primary responsibilities are as follows:
Provide administrative support for the Milton operation

Compiling and reporting production statistics

Tracking equipment utilization, production costs, and man hours

Processing vendor invoices and purchase orders on a daily basis

Purchasing of parts and safety supplies

Maintaining equipment down time reports

Processing and maintaining payroll

Liaise with the public regarding general inquiries

Provide operational support for the scale house

Support with the truck ticketing process

Perform related job duties as assigned


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

High school diploma or equivalent required

Solid organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changing business situations

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Ability and willingness to work overtime as required

This position requires someone who can sit for a long period of time, stand, and lift boxes occasionally

Experience with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Engineering & Construction Management System is a plus
