    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Operations Manager serves as a pivotal partner to the Executive Director, taking charge of the day-to-day operations of campus offices and facilities, functioning as a cross-departmental liaison, crisis & safety POC, and financial oversight of specific operational elements for improved profitability.

    This role ensures that employees have an optimal work environment and families experience a safe and welcoming environment.

    The incumbent plays a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive campus culture by collaborating with campus and support team leaders, identifying potential challenges, and upholding the organization's mission.

    Administrative support to the Executive Director and campus leaders is also a key responsibility of this role.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Administrative Support:
    Collaborate with HR and IT to prepare and distribute onboarding materials, schedule meet and greets, provide technology training, assign a buddy, coordinate Day 1 greetings, and familiarize new hires with emergency procedures
    Advocate for new employees' well-being and success by ensuring they are adequately supported and equipped for their roles
    Act as the campus expert holding comprehensive knowledge of company policies and the staff handbook, serving as the primary point of contact for addressing inquiries and providing clarifications
    Manage shared communications for staff, moms, and common areas (newsletters, shared documents)
    Maintain the campus calendar, organize meetings, and coordinate team events to foster collaboration and engagement, while also establishing and managing extensive databases and filing systems covering office resources and vendor contacts
    Anticipate supply needs and manage inventory, aligning with scheduled campus activities to ensure seamless operations
    Oversee the campus Microsoft SharePoint site to ensure that materials are accessible, accurate and up to date
    Manage incoming calls and correspondence and provide shipping and mailing support for staff
    Oversee volunteer coordination and supervise volunteers working on various projects

    Campus Operational Leadership
    Develop and implement effective campus office operations and procedures by making recommendations that increase efficiency, maximize operational budget and nurture JP culture
    Maintain a keen awareness of operations, providing insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency, optimize the operational budget, and cultivate a cohesive team culture
    Collaborate with local landlord/leasing company, emergency vendors, to oversee local facility needs, ensuring clean and well-maintained spaces and addressing office concerns/issues as they arise
    Work closely with the finance team to oversee local accounting tasks, such as deposits and check requests, while serving as a point of contact for accounting inquiries

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Gift Officer (GO) is a critical position that helps execute the vision and growth of individual national donors at Jeremiah Program.

    The GO is an essential member of the National Development, responsible for stewarding relationships with individuals and corporations, and supporting the overall national development efforts.

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Development Strategy & Operations (SD-DSO), the GO will be charged with cultivating relationships with 200+ mid-range donor & prospect portfolios contributing individually at the $100-$5,000 level and up to $25,000 at the corporate level.

    In addition to a focus on stewarding and securing gifts, the Gift Officer will lead acquisition and retention efforts focusing on first-time donor retention.

    A competitive applicant will possess a deep commitment to and understanding of current housing, education, early childhood, and all social justice issues intersecting with poverty.

    Applicants should have prior experience working within a structured and effective development department and bring an entrepreneurial approach both to their career path and development work.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Manage a 200+ donor portfolio through high-touch engagement including face-to-face visits, virtual meetings, email, calls, event participation, and personalized postal correspondence while leveraging and maintaining impeccable database records
    Achieve weekly donor stewardship touchpoint goals for donor outreach contacts and 1-1 meetings
    In conjunction with the SD-DSO, Senior Director of Individual Giving and Vice President of Development, the Gift Officer serves as a key stakeholder responsible for maintaining and building the individual and smaller corporate donor infrastructure in collaboration with the National Development team
    Lead the prospect research process for National donors
    Assist the SD-DSO in ensuring systems and processes regarding donor event logistics, prospect research, prospect qualification, and donor stewardship are highly effective
    Collaborate and problem-solve with SD-DSO to increase the acquisition, retention, and renewal of key donors within their
    In collaboration with SD-DSO, meet the annual giving fundraising goal of at least $2M
    Partner with the SD-DSO to reconcile contributions from donors and update


    In collaboration with the Team:
    Lead data analysis to drive our prospect research and donor cultivation and stewardship
    Perform comprehensive ongoing data analysis and evaluation related to all aspects of your individual giving
    Ensure fundraising activity and interactions are accurately and regularly stored in donor

    Requirements

    The Gift Officer must have great interpersonal skills, an ability to work with a significant volume of highly varying data requiring rigor, a strong understanding of data systems, and the ability to thrive in a complex environment.


    BA/BS degree in relevant field preferred
    6+ years of related professional experience with at least (4) five being in donor-related activities within an organization with a $2M fundraising goal strongly preferred
    Demonstrated evidence of the ability to execute fundraising plans and strategies that generate significant results and proven track record cultivating, stewarding, and moving donors to higher levels of support
    Passion for the Jeremiah Program mission and commitment to creating development opportunities that enable the organization to increase its impact and meet goals
    Strong donor CRM experience identifying data trends, prospect research, and wealth screening for donor moves management
    You have personally been responsible for identifying, stewarding, and securing multiple $5,000 or greater individual gifts and $10,000 or greater corporate gifts, including new donors and donor upgrades
    Honed writing and speaking skills that inspire donors to give
    Strong prospect research skills and a proven track record initiating, stewarding, and moving individual gifts to higher levels of support
    You are open to travelling up to twice a month or approximately twenty trips a year

    SALARY &


    BENEFITS:

    Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $75,900 and $91,000 commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.

    Additionally, we offer medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits as well as retirement plans and a generous vacation package.
