    To help us meet our ambitions and provide the best experience for patients UCB is hiring an operations specialist.

    This role can be remote but will require travel (30%) and will be responsible for executing, implementing, and managing strategies and tactical support that empower patients to start and stay on our immunology therapies as prescribed by their healthcare professional.

    This position supports the immunology portfolio brands in all indicated therapeutic areas. The Patient Services Operations Specialist will reside in the U.S. Immunology Patient Value Unit and report to the Lead, Strategic Operations Patient Services, US Immunology.

    The successful incumbent will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing patient services key initiatives and strategic projects by shaping and developing fully integrated portfolio-centric project plans including schedule, WBS, testing, implementation, training, and transition Gantt charts using project and program management methodologies.

    Manage the relationship with current and future vendor partners tasked with elevating and transforming our support services to drive UCB market leadership and create a competitively differentiated customer and patient experience.

    The management of these partners will include key components such as:

    coordination and management of patient services staff meetings, including data governance, business reviews, progress updates, launch, briefing, kick-off, and budget meetings.

    Represent patient services digital and data innovations to improve customer and patient experience, development of resources to improve product fulfillment, and the development of new resource offerings and transformational patient support programs.

    Support the strategic implementation for the immunology patient access and affordability support programs. These programs support both buy and bill (medical benefit) as well as specialty pharmacy products.
    Support the creation of new innovative first to market access and affordability programs.
    Leverage technology to improve the customer and patient experience.
    Partner with IT patient solutions technical analyst and I2I patient analytics lead to spearhead and document data troubleshooting efforts.

    Management and creation of process flows, FIA, IA, data mapping, dictionaries, and business rules, to support API integration and management with all downstream partners.

    Manage the data flow between all patient services partners ensuring data integrity and service level agreements are adhered to.
    Ensure the execution of access and affordability programs align with business objectives across Immunology.
    Implement plans that improve the operational efficiency of patient support programs
    Cross-functional collaboration with Brand, DTC, and Patient Services Marketing, FAS/FRE Leadership, SP team, Information Technology, Legal and Compliance teams.
    Measure and analyze key performance metrics related to patient access and affordability programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

    Assist with updates to department senior leadership on program performance, as well as coordinate and facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews.

    Manage monthly accruals and invoice tracking for patient services vendors.
    Establish data management service level agreements and monitor vendor progress against the agreements.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    At least 2+ year(s) vendor management experience
    Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Project, Visio, and Excel
    Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills a must.
    Demonstrated ability to manage vendors in contracting, execution and refinement of program offerings.
    Solid speaking, writing, and budgeting skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes at short notice.
    Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    BS/BA degree preferred.
    At least 5+ years in patient service operations within a Pharmaceutical or Device manufacturer preferred. Track record of meeting and exceeding targets; program and project management certification preferred.
