IXL is looking for a warm and energetic housekeeping assistant (m/f/d) to join our team at the Braunschweiger Straße residential group in Hildesheim, starting on August 15th.

This position is for 20 hours per week.

IXL is a long-standing and recognized non-profit organization in the field of child and youth welfare. Our empathetic and experienced team provides support to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families throughout the Hildesheim district. Our services include both outpatient and inpatient assistance.

The Braunschweiger Straße residential group, located centrally in Hildesheim, provides care for male adolescents and young adults aged 10-21 years.

Our belief is in a youth welfare system that advocates for the needs of young people and their families. We work systemically, activating and focusing on the individual's environment, with the goal of strengthening their sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Planning and cooking warm meals for the residential group (weekly menu) in consultation with the pedagogical staff and residents
Grocery shopping and managing the budget
Proper storage of supplies in collaboration with the team leader
Setting the table for lunch and participating in the meal, as well as cleaning up the kitchen afterwards
Assisting the pedagogical team in teaching residents about household tasks
Adhering to hygiene protocols
