- ISSO responsibilities include: conducts risk management framework (RMF) assessment and authorization activities of current and future systems;
- mitigates and eradicates malicious activity; applies knowledge and experience with standard information systems security concepts, practices, and procedures; implements common information systems security practices, policies and technologies; prepares reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems; gathers pertinent security documentation and artifacts for inclusion into system authorization packages.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science a plus, but not required for the job.
- 8-10 years' of experience in developing and implementing Intrusion Detection Systems and firewalls.
- DoD IAT Level 1 or IASAE Level 1
- Windows Server experience
