    Job Description:


    We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Electrical Engineer or EIT to join our team in the water and wastewater industry.

    As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure projects.

    This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on the water and wastewater management field.


    Job Responsibilities:


    Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure projects.

    Collaborate with experienced engineers to prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
    Conduct electrical load calculations, power distribution analysis, and assist in equipment selection.
    Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation components.
    Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design and construction phases.
    Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
    Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and contribute to finding effective solutions.
    Participate in feasibility studies and contribute to the assessment of proposed electrical systems.
    Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering for water and wastewater applications.


    Job Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.4 years of experience or less in electrical engineering. Relevant internships or co-op experience will be considered.
    Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
    Familiarity with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, or similar tools.
    Exposure to electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, and instrumentation through coursework or projects.
    Basic understanding of SCADA systems and control systems integration.
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze electrical issues.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
    Commitment to obtaining Engineer-in
    • Training (EIT) certification within 1 year.
