We are seeking a Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience who is interested in quickly contributing and thriving in a fast-paced, positive, mutually supportive environment.

Key Technical Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers in the execution of engineering projects, including but not limited to the production of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction phase services.
• Develop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, rightofway requirements and cost.
• Develop plans and specifications that comply with preexisting state and municipality requirements.
• Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project's purpose and need.
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Prepare written technical reports and engineering studies using approved company formats.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate or ability to obtain EIT certificate within 6 months of being hired.

years of experience working on roadway projects, including previous experience on municipal roadway projects.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD required. Civil 3D experience is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Proficient with Bluebeam.
• Selfstarter with strong oral and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as required.
• Authorized to work permanently in the US.

Salary will be determined based on experience.


Pay:
$70, $85,000.00 per year
