Are you looking for a secure job with prospects? We are currently seeking a Financial and Accounting Employee (m/f/d) for a retail company in Basking Ridge, NJ.


Our client operates a wide network of retail stores, including train station bookstores, specialty stores for press articles, tobacco shops, and convenience stores.

As the company continues to grow, we are looking for your support to expand our team.

Together with your team, you will handle all accounting processes, build up the internal accounting department, and continuously develop it.

There is also the opportunity for you to take on a team leadership role in the future.


What you can expect

  • Permanent fulltime or parttime contract (minimum 30 hours/week)
  • Annual salary of around 50,000 euros for fulltime, depending on qualifications and experience later as a team leader, around 58,000 euros

Your responsibilities

  • Recording and posting of all business transactions in the accounts payable area
  • Reconciliation and clarification of accounts
  • Processing and monitoring of payments and open items
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Supporting the optimization of accounting processes
  • Project work
