  • Depending on coordination responsibilities
  • All departments of the plant and support services of POAE/ The Purchasing organization (local, BU, and Central)/ The Supplier market (suppliers & institutions)

Competence Requirements

  • Knowledge/Qualifications
  • Previous Experience (if relevant)
  • Key Technical Competencies
  • Key Behavioral Competencies (in addition to PO Group competencies)
  • Other Requirements
  • Technical or business background with a specialization in purchasing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing department in an industrial and international environment
  • Previous experience in industrial indirect purchasing is a plus (Scope Maintenance, Repair, industrial consumables and services, CAPEX, and lost packaging)
  • Knowledge of local, regional, and global markets
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes:
  • Supplier base management (supplier selection, ranking, development, commodity strategy)
  • Sourcing process
  • Order to pay process
  • Technical negotiations
  • Corporate and commercial laws
  • Project management
  • Finance and cash management
  • Risk management
  • Logistics (consignment, VMI incoterms)
  • Fluent in English
