    Description

    Job Title:

    Controls & Instrumentation Site Support SpecialistSummary: Seeking a seasoned professional to provide on-site support and oversight for Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) activities within a dynamic CHP Project environment.

    Responsibilities include reviewing contractor deliverables, ensuring quality adherence, managing project documentation, and supporting subcontracting strategies. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.


    Responsibilities:
    Assist Construction Site Manager with site activities and safety oversight.
    Support claim management, contract documentation, and variation reporting.
    Enforce project standards and collaborate with Engineering to resolve design issues.
    Monitor project risks and ensure compliance with schedules and budgets.
    Facilitate effective team and client meetings.
    Communicate project updates and liaise with stakeholders.
    Review and approve contractor work method statements and progress.
    Provide input on project requirements and resolve issues promptly.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
    Minimum 10 years of site experience in power/utilities.
    Advanced knowledge of instrumentation and electrical installations.
    Familiarity with construction safety practices and processes.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Successful background check.

    Requirements:
    Experience with power projects exceeding $150millionKnowledge of construction pricing, scheduling, and contract types.
    Additional education/training in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
