If this sounds appealing to you, then consider our Hydraulic Engineer opportunity. This is a remote position.

    The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for providing engineering hydrological and hydraulic analysis, planning, and design for a variety of infrastructure-related civil and hydraulic engineering projects. The position offers world-case technical challenges, opportunities to mentor junior staff, and the chance to engage in and manage projects across the country and the world.

    Your Role:

    • Perform computer modeling of various hydraulic infrastructure systems.
    • Conduct hydraulic calculations to assist in design.
    • Prepare technical reports and design documents.
    • Ensure technical accuracy and standard engineering practices.
    • Resolve technical issues and collaborate with other disciplines.
    • Recommend design modifications and coordinate with the team.
    • Assess engineering problems and recommend solutions.
    • Coordinate with design staff on infrastructure-related projects.
    • Market potential clients and assist in proposal preparation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering.
    • 2+ years of experience in civil and/or environmental field.
    • Engineer in Training required, PE preferred.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulics programs, Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of various software programs is preferred.
    • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
    • Experience with project work related to hydrology and hydraulics.
    • Position requires periodic travel.
