Job Summary
The primary function of this position is to serve as a peer advisor supporting seniors and recent alumni applying for the U.S.
The program is a fantastic opportunity for applicants to pursue research or an arts project, obtain a graduate degree, or teach English in a foreign country of their choice following graduation.
The Fulbright Peer Tutor (FPT) will guide applicants through in-person and online individual and group writing sessions.As an FPT, you will receive training on writing pedagogy as well as tailored training to working with fellowship, especially Fulbright, applicants.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your own tutoring/teaching and writing skills while assisting your peers with their applications.
This position will begin on August 26th and finish on October 8th.Responsibilities
Qualifications
In order to be considered, you must be a rising junior or a rising senior. Those with previous tutoring experience or who have applied for fellowships in the past are especially encouraged to apply.

Compensation
FPTs will receive a stipend of up to $500 and will work on average 6 hours per week, including a mix of weekday and weekend hours.
You must be an enrolled student at Oberlin College & Conservatory to qualify.
