This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to play a critically important role as we continue to drive growth with an exciting range of world-leading products.

Working as part of the Operations team, you will make a real difference to the performance of the business, developing in your career whilst being able to see the impact of your efforts.

Key tasks for position holder:

Primary responsibility is for current products and new products to be manufacturable and sustainable in serial production at Emblation or with third-party contract manufacturers.

Maintain and implement GMP documentation and operate within Emblation's ISO 13485 compliant QMS.
Work directly with suppliers and third-party contract manufacturers.
Act as the lead interface between stakeholders for the transfer of new products from design into manufacture.
Support production process validation programs.

Participate in design reviews with design teams providing manufacturing expertise so that new products meet (DFM) design-for-manufacture, (DFA) design-for-assembly, (DFT) design-for-test, and (DFSC) design-for-Supply Chain requirements.

Execute continuous improvements programs for serial production and product service repair functions.
Identify serial production improvement opportunities based on the analysis of yield and efficiency data.
Assist with the product service repair function, internally or in partnership with third-party contract manufacturer to deliver customer satisfaction.
Attend regular operations management meetings
Practical knowledge of electronic manufacturing services for high variability, low volume products.
Experience working in a live production and/or support environment, delivering against tight timescales and being adaptable to changing requirements.
General understanding of electronic components, material supply chain principles, manufacturing processes, and product development processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated to further develop skill set with the ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer service excellence.
A relevant qualification and or vast experience in electronics manufacturing or product design.
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Knowledge of post process treatments.
Understanding of medical device development and manufacturing process.
Knowledge or familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO9001.
