Transportation, Energy, Medical, Consumer & Industrial, and many more product areas.
Duties and responsibilitiesDevelop and implement process operations and routing for parts and assemblies.

Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on a daily basis to produce high quality productsDevelop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximum production.

Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
Identify unsafe operations and practices and work to remedy immediately.
Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quantity and reliability.
Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.

Qualifications:
B. S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience- 3 years previous experience in a production engineering settingWorking knowledge in using Solidworks and AutoCADWorking knowledge of ERP systems, preferably utilizing Epicor 9/10 or equivalent ERP systemPrior experience in an engineer to order manufacturing environment a plusGood interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsMust be self-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and have strong initiativeAbility to work in a manufacturing and office environment
