    About the Role:

    Mass Virtual has an immediate opening for a Sr Systems Administrator to assist and lead in day-to-day IT operations. The successful candidate will be a vital part of the IT support team. They should excel at thriving in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of IT principles such as networking, backups, server maintenance, hardware, and domain infrastructure.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Solving advanced user issues (tier 3 support)
    • Build and maintain corporate workstations/laptops/servers
    • Configuration and Project Management
    • Analyzing system performance and recommend improvement actions
    • Lead analysis of server and storage environment and work to create proactive changes in support of KPIs
    • Work and Mentor others in the team to ensure a tightly integrated and functional team
    • Create GPO's and manage Active Directory ensuring a secure environment
    • Assist the IT Director with researching and implementing new hardware/software solutions

    What you need to succeed:

    • 5-10 years of IT experience
    • In depth knowledge and experience with VMware products
    • Experience administrating servers in a mixed environment (Windows/Linux)
    • Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

    Great to have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Mid - Sr level industry certifications (IE. MCSE, CCNA, CISSP)
    • Experience and certification in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
    • Familiarity with industry security standards (NIST/GDPR)

    Working Conditions:

    • In-office 100% of the time
    • The person in this position must be able to stay stationary for long periods of time
    • Some travel may be required for this role
