- Continue to build Stantec's South Carolina water/wastewater presence by using current client relationships in Columbia-area water and wastewater municipal markets to determine and win project opportunities. Develop additional client relationships necessary for building business in the Greenville/Columbia area.
- Coordinate business development opportunities with our overall Water practice in the Southeast.
- Lead water/wastewater practice in SC.
- Stantec has many subject matter experts whom you can introduce to your clients. Connecting client opportunities with our experts is essential.
- Lead detailed studies, modeling, and design of municipal water and wastewater systems and related facilities.
- Lead the development of plans specifications and other contract documents for water and wastewater improvements.
- Manage and supervise engineers and technical staff to ensure that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Meet with clients, municipal officials, public, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
- Manage project schedule and budget.
- Manage the process for obtaining approvals from various agencies.
- 12 years' experience in engineering analysis and design of water distribution and wastewater collection facilities.
- Established history or ability to build strong client relationships with South Carolina Water and Wastewater municipalities.
- Ability to manage regional design teams with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree.
- P.E license in South Carolina or ability to quickly obtain P.E is required.
