    Description

    Animal Medical Center is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced, two doctor companion animal practice in Hernando, MS, with an additional location in neighboring Senatobia, MS.

    We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, reproductive procedures, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and ultrasonography, in a clean, newly remodeled location.

    Hernando is a growing community with a small-town feel.

    Many individuals and families find it the perfect place to call home due to its beauty, rich history, available activities for families and children, top-notch school system, quality housing and neighborhoods, low taxes, and convenient location to larger, more metropolitan areas such as Memphis, TN.

    The community and town square is bustling with music festivals, parades, theatre arts, a thriving farmers' market, and activities year 'round.

    Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.

    • Ability to be confident around animals (i.e., This position may require special working hours, including working weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
    • Must have mental capacity and processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
    • Job requires sufficient ambulatory skills in order to perform required duties while working.
    • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required.
    • Hospital teammates are routinely exposed to a variety of animals that may bite, kick or scratch, and on occasion, may be exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
