    Are you a leader in developing solutions that address the challenges of a rapidly growing food manufacturing organization? Then you will excel as our Food Safety Coordinator

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The QA/GFSI Coordinator position will be responsible for all Quality Assurance and GFSI certification aspects.
    • Develop, review, update, and maintain all Q.A. processes and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, and GFSI standards and certifications
    • Facilitate training to employees on job responsibilities as they relate to Q.A standards
    • Serve as primary contact for GFSI certifying body
    • Develop and coordinate training sessions to support GFSI certification
    • Develop, schedule, and perform internal audits frequently
    • Maintain all Q.A. files
    • Maintain and update policies and manufacturing operations & practices as required to support GFSI compliance
    • Coach, counsel, and train Associates
    • Collaborate with managers to enforce systems, policies, and procedures related to Q.A. and GFSI requirements
    • Conduct routine audits, report on audit findings and corrective action requirements
    • Follow up on corrective actions to make sure they are completed Continuous

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experience
    • Experience in GFSI accreditation (preferred)
    • Proficient in business writing
    • Proficient in Computer, software, and data management systems
    • Understanding of policy development
    • Ability to perform organoleptic evaluations on all edible products produced
    • Strong training and communication skills
