The city of Velbert is seeking a Team Leader for Debt Management (m/f/d) in the Department of Financial Services, Division of City Treasury, as soon as possible.

Your tasks:


  • Management of the Debt Management team, responsible for reminders and enforcement
  • Responsibility for debt management and initiation of debt collection procedures for the city of Velbert and its municipal companies
  • Implementation of new enforcement procedures, such as Amtshilfe-Net, E-Akte AVVISO, , including testing of new programs in H&H and AVVISO
  • Independent initiation of forced auction and forced administration procedures, including representation of the city of Velbert before the Velbert District Court and other courts
  • Registration of claims of the city of Velbert and the Technical Services Velbert in insolvency proceedings and enforcement against insolvency administrators
  • Monitoring and initiation of judicial estate guardianships
