The city of Geldern is the rural living city on the left bank of the Lower Rhine, North Rhine-Westphalia, a central hub with around 35,000 inhabitants and a high-quality and diverse educational landscape.

A vibrant cultural scene and a variety of sports and leisure activities are complemented by a comprehensive range of services for families.

At the Parkbad of the city's swimming pool operation, we are looking to fill the position of:

Farmer, SD (m/f/d)

unlimited full-time position with currently 39 hours per week.

The classification is based on pay group 6 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).


The position can also be filled part-time if multiple part-time applications are received and a full position can be achieved through appropriate scheduling.


Your main tasks are:

- independent supervision of the swimming facilities and technology
- organization, supervision and monitoring of the swimming operation
- operation and maintenance of the swimming pool technology
- maintenance of buildings and outdoor facilities


Your profile:

- completed training as a specialist for swimming pool operations
- current certificate of first aid training and rescue ability
- good knowledge of swimming pool technology

In addition, it would be desirable if you have:

  • independent work style, sense of responsibility, flexibility and teamwork
- open and guest-oriented demeanor
- willingness to work shifts and on weekends and holidays
- very good mental and physical condition
