Industrial Mechanic Apprenticeship (m/f/d) with a focus on Mechanical and Plant Engineering, starting in August 2024

Job Description:
As an industrial mechanic apprentice, you will be responsible for manufacturing, setting up, and modifying machines and production systems. You will also monitor and optimize production processes, as well as perform repair and maintenance tasks. With additional training as an electrician, you can qualify as a service technician.

Training Content:
Basic metal training
Production of parts according to drawings
Assembly of components according to assembly instructions
Work in machine assembly and plant maintenance

Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school, technical secondary school, technical college, or high school

Duration of Training:
3.5 years (possible to shorten to 3 years)

Vocational School:
Berufskolleg Lübbecke, location Espelkamp, 1-2 days/week

Career Opportunities:
Specialized further training
Further training as an industrial foreman or technician
University studies
Starting a follow-up apprenticeship as an electrician with the goal of becoming a service technician
