Description
Quality Assurance Manager
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in food safety and food safety/quality test methods, is certified in SQF, HACCP, and FSPCA, and has previous leadership experience.
Location: Madison, WI
Reports to: GM
Salary: $90-$115K
Bonus: 15%
Job Description:
Support bakery operations by maintaining and implementing food safety policies
Implement food safety regulatory changes
Maintain gluten free, organic, and non-GMO programs for four production lines
Primary auditor contact for SQF, gluten free, organic, and non-GMO
Record and maintain audit documents and maintain CCP documents
Report any out of specification verification checks to Production Manager
Assist in resolution of customer complaints
Assume SQF Practitioner responsibilities as described in the SQF code
Maintain HACCP program
Monitor sanitation and environment
Ensure employee training is complete
Develop GMPs and food safety requirements
Maintain a clean safe environment, safe equipment and maintain a steady work pace
Pass audits and inspections
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders
Manage In-Process Auditor and one technician
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in food safety and food safety/quality test methods
Certification including SQF Practitioner, HACCP, and FSPCA
Participate in gluten proficiency testing
Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
