Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will develop, implement and sustain staff and all systems necessary to assure the delivery of products and services that will satisfy customer requirements while maintaining all quality and regulatory requirements and guidelines.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coordinate QMS and Food Safety Compliance
  • Act as technical resource to internal and external parties relating to all aspects of the QMS and government funded programs including SourceAmercia
  • Keep abreast of all regulatory issues dealing with food safety and ensure requirements of HACCP and other relevant standards are effectively communicated to the management team as well as implemented and maintained
  • Prepare and lead all audit functions and make recommendations for corrective and preventive actions necessary to ensure conformity
  • Maintain an effective quality/regulatory document control system
  • Influence quality and productivity improvements through development of new and advanced procedures and process innovations
  • Supervise the staff within the quality department in all production locations

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relavent work experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and techniques
  • Experience with project management and leading crossfunctional teams
  • Familiarity with FSMA, USDA, FDA and ISO guidelines
  • Understanding of HACCP principles is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay:
$ $37.00 per hour
