The North America (NA) Supply & Inventory Planning (S&IP) Team owns inventory for the NA marketplace end-to-end (E2E); combines marketplace insights, inventory goals, and product hierarchy to shape supply in support of Consumer demand; and is a key partner on supply delivery, inventory forecasting and inventory health. It has interaction across various partners in the NA organization and Nikes Global Supply & Inventory Planning teams

Were looking for a North America (NA) Senior Supply & Inventory Manager Lead, who will support leading E2E Supply & Inventory Planning by a specific consumer segment in partnership with the S&IP Director.

This role will support and participate in the supply and inventory strategies, planning execution, serving as the consumer teams primary point of contact for supply & inventory planning needs. This candidate will support representation for S&IP at the Consumer Leadership Table, storytelling overall supply health, risks and opportunities. This role is the E2E Inventory expert & point of contact for key partners on consumer dimension. Recommending supply shaping strategy for consumer segment based on marketplace insights, inventory goals, and product hierarchy is an expectation. This role leads integration of capability work within their consumer team. This role partners cross-functionally, representing IP, and explaining metrics and actions.

The candidate needs to have proven track record of understanding the key financial and business drivers for our Business; imagining and articulating a positive future vision for the team; willing to take calculated risks and make decisions even if information is lacking or time is short; ensuring team members have access to necessary consumer and market information. This person will need to successfully collaborate with cross-functional team members on a regular basis and proactively address, resolve, and/or raise any operational issues affecting the on-time purchasing of product and E2E inventory health

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON A typical day/week revolves around facilitating twice/month delivery planning process and ensure that materials are planned & purchased on the appropriate timelines under Demand Supply Management (DSM) function while supporting the marketplace supply strategy supporting global inventory health targets.

You will be responsible for carrying out and leading supply commitments through creation of purchase orders (POs) for procurement of Nikes finished goods and the management of buy exceptions. You will maintain any changes to POs, including product movement from factory to distribution center. You will review POs for conformance to company policy and may address issues related to delivery.

Youll be conducting analysis to proactively identify challenges, at the same time be able to tell a story, driving clarity for your key partners thru key business metrics (PIFOT-Planned in Full On Time, Coverage, Unplanned, and Inventory Health). You will be asked to be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects and support key initiatives that have an impact to our day-to-day business.

You will proactively drive strategy and lead the team through actions to keep a healthy inventory position in the assigned business. You will use multiple reports and dashboards to review metrics, raise any issues that will cause unfulfilled demand and/or a delay to the expected timelines. You will report and communicate to consumer planning teams delivery expectations, risks and opportunities to drive inventory health.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will report into the Supply & Inventory Planning Director, working closely with Consumer teams and Inventory Operations team to ensure your inventory ownership supports Nike, Inc. E2E targets. You will also work closely with the Consumer Planning team, including Assortment Planning, Integrated Marketplace Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning as well as Global Supply Planning and Merchandising.

Minimum of 6 years of supply/inventory planning, or supply chain experience required

Experience leading strategy across peer groups that are not direct reports

Excellent written, spoken and visual communication skills. Specifically, well demonstrated capability converting complex concepts into easy to interpret stories that resonate across a varied audience

Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment.

Superior interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and cross-culturally, specifically fostering productive relationships between key players and immediate team

Validated analytical skills, finding relevant information within large data sets and create executive story

Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)

Prior SAP experience preferred

Microsoft Power Business Intelligence experience preferred

Strong knowledge of Tableau & Cognos

Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment

Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances

Participate on projects, including system releases, as assigned
