- 7+ years experience in clinical blood bank laboratory in all areas (processing, testing, storage, release, etc.) and cellular therapy (stem cell) laboratory.
- Current certification as Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or similar; ASCP certification strongly preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in people management (lab staff).
- 5+ years of experience overseeing all technical aspects of tissue bank operations under the supervision of a medical director.
- Ability to ensure quality control management and to set up corresponding processes.
- Experience in ensuring the validation of laboratories, processes, procedures, and equipment.
- Ability for teamwork, multitasking, regular reporting, and performance of assigned tasks on time and in the required quality.

This international organization has many years of experience in many European countries, starting a brand new US operation. The entire operation is being built from the 'ground up'- new laboratory, new staff, etc. Initially, we will start small and add staff as the operation grows.
