    FLAG Solutions is hiring an Aerospace Metrology Quality Technician for an Aerospace company in Gardena which manufactures precision engineered fastening solutions primarily for the aerospace industries. MUST have knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 If you qualify please text the word, "Metrology" to Shift: 1st shiftPay rate: $20-$28 DOEResponsibilities:
    • Perform metrology inspections using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
    • Conduct first-article inspections (FAIs) and in-process inspections to verify product conformity to customer specifications and industry standards.
    • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine measurement requirements and tolerances.
    • Maintain calibration records for measurement equipment and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of metrology procedures and work instructions.
    • Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification in metrology or quality assurance preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in metrology or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries.
    • Proficiency in using metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
    • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
