    • Helping combat systemic inequity in education by prioritizing donations to historically underfunded schools.

    About the Role: The Business Development Director position at DonorsChoose is a pivotal role within the Community Growth & Impact Team.

    • Responsibilities include fundraising from corporate prospects, leading calls with potential donors, and contributing to a team revenue goal of $10 million in new partnerships.
    • Engaging in outreach activities and representing DonorsChoose at key events across the country.
    • Playing a crucial role in addressing racial inequity in education through strategic partnerships.

    About You: The ideal candidate for this role is deeply committed to supporting public school teachers and students, passionate about equity, and possesses at least eight years of relevant experience.

    • Comfortable with public speaking, networking, and building strong relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage other team members effectively.
    • Highly strategic, curious, efficient, organized, and a strong team player.

    Compensation and Benefits: The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $110,000 to $118,000, with higher ranges for specific locations.
