Description

We are looking for a competent and reliable Public Service Finance Team Leader in full-time for a long-term position. This is an attractive company in the public sector located in 28215 Bremen, which is focused on increasing the attractiveness of the city of Bremen and contributing to modern urban development.

These are your responsibilities

Leading a team of three employees for successful development of the department
Preparing commercial annual financial statements and coordinating internal deadlines
Managing accounts payable and fixed asset accounting, including payment transactions
Supervising apprentices and interns
Handling correspondence with auditors, other public institutions, and legal advisors

Qualifications and skills

Completed commercial education with further training in accounting or a degree in finance, accounting, or taxation
Extensive professional experience and confidence in independently preparing annual financial statements, even on a larger scale
Knowledge of value-added tax and its advance notification, as well as an affinity for digitalization
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility
