    Legal Assistant
    Litigation
    Temp for 3 month coverage
    Downtown Miami


    Busy, prestigious law firm in downtown Miami is seeking an experienced legal assistant to cover a three month leave. They need someone experienced in all phases of litigation.

    The ideal candidate must have at least three years of litigation experience.

    Job Duties:

    • Handle e-filing, scheduling and calendaring.
    • Prepare motions, pleadings and other legal documents.
    • Case management from inception through trial preparation
    • Review and summarize depositions.
    • Effectively maintain communication with clients and vendors.
    • Assist with drafting discovery requests and responses.
    • Organize, analyze and draft legal documents.
    • Manage, organize & index volume document production.
    • Prepare witness and exhibit lists as required.
    • Legal Administrative tasks as needed
    • Assist with the organization and management of case load.

    Job Requirements:
    • Possess a working knowledge of both state and federal court procedures.
    • The ability to work on time sensitive deadlines and exercise good judgment is essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Outlook).
    • Experience using Relativity and MS PowerPoint is a plus.
