    Description

    As a Private Client Wealth Advisor in the Detroit Metro area, you will be crucial in growing our client base, driving sales revenue, and building strong relationships with existing clients. You will inherit a book of high-net-worth clientele and play a vital role in managing and expanding those relationships. This is a growth opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about providing exceptional service and driving revenue growth. There is no requirement to source new clientele from external channels as the firm has several well-developed lead sources.

    Ideal candidates should have a CFP designation, 2-5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn and communicate market and investment product knowledge for systematic strategies.

    Client Relationships

    • Develop and strengthen relationships within the existing territory client book.
    • Consolidate assets and drive revenue growth through proactive client engagement.
    • Follow up on prospect information from well-developed lead sources, nurture opportunities, and close deals to onboard new clients.
    • Understand client needs, investment objectives, and risk profiles to offer tailored solutions and investment strategies that meet their requirements.
    • Conduct client presentations and meetings that effectively communicate the value proposition of our investment strategies, financial planning programs, and our holistic wealth management services.
    • Network with custodial partners and act as an ambassador for the firm, representing its differentiated strategy values and service model.
    • Generate opportunities for custodian branch office presentations to showcase the firm's capabilities.
    • Schedule client reviews, manage account paperwork, and address miscellaneous service items as needed.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding, effective communication, and alignment of client expectations.

    Communication & Data Management

    • Build review presentations and client proposals, leveraging market and investment product knowledge for systematic strategies.
    • Input portfolio planning information to Money Guide Pro or other planning platforms as provided.
    • Maintain client communication records in the relationship management platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming emails, calls, and meeting requests from clients and prospects.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Possess a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation.
    • Have at least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a high-net-worth client-facing role.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Exhibit a strong aptitude for learning and communicating market trends, investment product knowledge, and systematic strategies.
    • Display a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential client information.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, provide exceptional service, and exceed client expectations.
