Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, as well as interaction with development teams.
Monitor, measure, and analyze application performance during test runs, and report findings to development teams and stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Assist in performance optimization efforts and provide actionable insights to improve application responsiveness and scalability.
Establish performance benchmarks and metrics, and ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance of performance standards.
Key Qualifications:
Skills and Technologies:
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with programming and scripting languages relevant to performance testing (e.g., Java, Python, Shell scripting).
Knowledge of windows application technologies (.NET, WPF) and database management.
Familiarity with network and application performance analysis tools such as Splunk, Grafana, PerfMon, and Prometheus.
Ability to analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
Experience with Continuous
Integration/Continuous
Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QA, with a significant focus on performance testing and engineering.
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in software quality assurance or performance testing can be a plus.
Personal Qualities:
Proactive and eager.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
