Dit ga je doen:
Engineer Active Part staat aan het roer van de creatie van binnenwerken voor transformatoren en grote smoorspoelen. Met een diepgaande focus op elektrisch ontwerp, klantspecificaties en internationale normen, worden complexe projecten tot leven gebracht, met een oog op begrote uren, mijlpalen en kosten.

Binnen de SGB-SMIT groep, waar Royal SMIT een essentieel onderdeel van is, wordt de expertise benut om vermogenstransformatoren en secundaire installaties te ontwikkelen, produceren en onderhouden. Deze componenten vormen de ruggengraat van energieopwekking en distributie over de hele wereld, en dragen bij aan de veerkracht van stedelijke energienetwerken. Royal Smit richt zich op de high-end markt, waarbij transformatoren worden geleverd die voldoen aan de hoogste eisen van vermogen en spanning, met capaciteiten tot 1000 MVA en spanningen tot 765 kV, evenals grote smoorspoelen van meer dan 100 MVA, allemaal volledig afgestemd op de behoeften van de klant.

Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan o.a. uit:

Analyseert klantspecificaties en vertaalt ze naar geoptimaliseerde constructies met 3D CAD-software, binnen kosten- en urenbudget.
Werkt nauw samen met andere disciplines binnen het projectteam.
Controleert ontwerp op specificaties, kosten en produceerbaarheid.
Stemt ontwerp af met klanten via design review.
Voert diverse analyses uit op elektrische, thermische, mechanische en magnetische aspecten.
Implementeert veiligheidsvoorzieningen voor productie- en assemblageprocessen.
Werkt ontwerpen uit voor Supply Chain en Operations.
Stelt specificaties op voor prijsonderhandelingen en coördineert met leveranciers.
Controleert en bewaakt werk van externe bureaus en zusterbedrijven.
Documenteert relevante informatie voor bedieningshandleidingen.
Onderhoudt contact met leveranciers over componentinnovaties.
Neemt deel aan verbeter- en innovatieprojecten.

Dit neem jij mee:
We zijn op zoek naar een engineer met een afgeronde Hbo-opleiding in elektrotechniek of werktuigbouw. Of een Mbo-opleiding met relevante ervaring. Ervaring met hoogspanning is mooi meegenomen maar niet essentieel. Daarnaast heb je ervaring met het werken in 3DCAD-systemen zoals Siemens NX, Solid Edge of Solid Works.
