    Job DescriptionSHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a Support Specialist. The Support Specialist is a 1099 remote opportunity with an expected duration of six (6) months or more. As the Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support and will be responsible for obtaining, organizing and transferring supporting documentation to support the Dispute Resolution department in pursuing legal actions and will focus on obtaining documentation for legal actions for internal and external clients.

    An ideal candidate for the Support Specialist role will possess strong organizational skills, clear and concise communication abilities, the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and follow through, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide administrative support to the Dispute Resolution department
    • Obtain and organize supporting documentation for legal actions
    • Assist in obtaining documentation for internal and external clients
    • Collaborate closely with the Director of Payment Compliance and Manager of Payer Analysis to prioritize tasks
    • Pull specific documents for client dispute issues
    • Coordinate with the Payer Analysis team to gather additional supporting information
    • Develop a framework for submitting documentation to legal counsel
    • Complete assigned tasks by specified deadlines
    • Maintain an electronic filing system for Dispute Resolution issues
    Qualifications:
    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • 3 years of experience as a legal or administrative assistant, preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
