- Create, develop, and present finalized estimates and proposals to clients.
- Identify new estimating opportunities through active promotion of NESL services to commercial clientele.
- Thoroughly review post-bid contract submissions for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
- Keep a close eye on project costs and budgets, monitoring key performance indicators on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents as necessary to support project success.
- Maintain open and positive communication with existing accounts, effectively managing any customer concerns that may arise.
- Coordinate project schedules, execution, and oversight in alignment with contract specifications.
- Participate in monthly budget and forecast reviews with the construction leadership team and financial department.
- Take charge of fostering a strong safety culture on assigned projects and specific areas of responsibility.
- Explore and expand your knowledge of the Materials & Aggregate Industry in Pennsylvania.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Alternatively, possess an Associate degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Previous experience with Project Management totaling at least 2 years is preferred.
- DOT experience is a must.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
- Familiarity with estimating and scheduling software is vital.
- Strong skills in mathematics, analytics, organization, interpersonal communication, and written documentation.
- Ability to decipher contract documents for plan interpretations and compliance with specifications, standards, and industry publications.
- Hold NECEPT Field Technician and OSHA 30 certifications, or have the capability to obtain them within 1 year of employment.
