    Outside Business Development Representative - Durham, United States - Caring Transitions

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

    The Role for this outside BUSINESS DEVEOPEMENT and LEAD GENERATION will be responsible for contacting and establishing new referrals and qualified leads within a defined territory (Chapel Hill, Hillsborough) to meet and company goals. This person will be the face of our company promoting our business, so we need someone comfortable in front of people. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, and does not need to be overseen with every part of their job; they possess excellent interpersonal and phone skills with the ability to develop a rapport with business partners and clients. The overall goal of this position is to drive sales, develop markets and create new opportunities for the franchise owner(s).

    + Work within a defined territory to identify and develop potential partners/clients.

    + Actively pursue sales partnerships and contact lead sources by email, phone, and in person with local travel.

    + Work cohesively in a team with a common goal to bring in more business for owner(s).

    + Identify, manage and develop referral sources and educate those sources on product services; clearly establish differentiation from competition.

    + Maintain adequate knowledge of services and specialty programs.

    + Support and utilize sales tools such as branded materials, social media, sales development training and webinars, and event-driven Email Campaigns

    + Comfortable making presentations in front of realtor groups and senior living communities to promote our brand.

    + Energetic personality, High closing ratios > 60-80%, and comfortable talking with people and asking for the sale

    + Flexible hours - but typically available during the hours of 10:00-3:00pm.

    + $18 - $25 per hr. depending on experience, plus bonus for closed leads, and mileage

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

    Job Requirements

    + Minimum 3 years experience sales and marketing with proven results

    + Must possess at a minimum, (optional: High School degree/ Bachelor's Degree

    + Must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively

    + Have a positive mindset and strong sense of purpose with the capacity to develop a passion for our mission and vision

    + Motivated, self-starter with strong organization and time management skills

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),

    + High closing ratio %

    + Fun energetic personality.

    + Outstanding customer service skills

    + Excellent organizations skills
