    Engineering Manager


    for the Advanced Technical Service Team (ATST)within ASG will be responsible for managing all engineering execution and support activities for ATST.

    Responsibilities to include providing an overall strategy for the engineering team, as well as managing all resources within the group to deliver engineering support expertise to our customers in a cost-effective manner.


    Primary responsibilities will include:
    Develop and implement plans to guide the overall direction of ATST engineering solutions
    Identify, develop, and direct the staff required to implement engineering support
    Strategize and prioritize engineering resources to provide complete customer satisfaction
    Create/implement procedures and strategies that help to advance new and existing engineers within the group
    Manage process-driven engineering studies, support activities, demonstrations, and presentations required to obtain strategic orders or address customer issues
    Manage software-related quote activities
    Create standardize ATST Software Engineering Standard Practices
    Work closely with sales, product management, manufacturing, and other FAC teams to ensure alignment of the ATST department strategy with broader company goals
    Manage the engineering project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while meeting project goals and objectives
    Monitor, analyze, and implement new technologies or methodologies that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
    Coordination and scheduling of resources
    Direct communications with ATST customers
    Provide prompt, professional and courteous solutions to customer problems
    Process Field Installation Reports (FIR) and provide customer with updates as needed
    Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
    Manage customer interaction and expectations through the timeline of the project
    Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
    Bachelor or Associate Degree in Engineering preferred
    Minimum of 15 years experience in the automation industry
    Thorough knowledge and experience with FANUC advanced software products
    Excellent communication and leadership skills
    Proficient with PC application software including Oracle, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    Ability to analyze and solve service and robot installation issues
    Must be proficient with FANUC software and hardware products
    Enjoys working in a team environment
    High School Diploma or GED Required
